my carnival holidays

On this carnival holiday, Danilo, Romain and I went to Guarda do Embaú. Guarda do Embaú is very known because of Paulo Zulu, a professional surfer, the beautiful south girls and its beautiful landscape. Paulo Zulu is also an actor and he made a show at Guarda.

We left the city of Sao Paulo friday night. It took us 18 hours on the bus to get there. We stayed at a house with two boys and five beautiful girls, everybody could go out at any time. When we arrived, it was a paradise, we couldn’t wait to visit the whole city. The beach is unforgettable. To get to the beach you have to take a little boat, like a cab, because there is a river between the beach and the city, and there is no other way to reach the other shore. We took a walk on the sand dunes, where we could see the whole beach
and all the waves. Guarda do Embaú is sought by good surfers. The weather was nice, sun all day and fresh at night. We had a lot of options to get something to eat, "Burritos" was the best option, a complete meal for 18 dollars. The parties in Guarda aren’t very
agitated, but we always had something to do. There is a street where everybody goes and meet their friends. During the day, we went to walk on the rocks. I have never seen anything more beautiful in my life. From the top of a rock, we can
see the whole beach, all the surfers. We kept walking away to the other side from Guarda. There we found another beach and a place where you can sandboard. Unfortunately we didn’t have a sand board. One time we stopped at a rock very close of the ocean. The waves came and beat the rocks very hard. Suddenly, a big wave was taking shape and we decided that we would stay where we were. It begun to grow and it got very big. It was very despairing but exciting at the same time. The last day, the restaurant where we ate "Burritos" made a great farewell party with an Israeli DJ.

We came back to Sao Paulo on Wednesday. During the day we gave a goodbye to Guarda and pick the bus at 8 o’clock. We slept the whole time. At arrival, came the deception of being away from the beach again. But we had a great time there and it was certainly the best Carnival ever.

Who am I?

Well, I guess it’ s impossible to say who I am if you don ‘y know me yet. But the thing is, that I don’ t even who I am. Everyday, everytime, everywhere and everything is building me, like if every experience of my life determines one part of me.

But, instead that, I can tell you that my name is Simon, I’ am seventeen years old, I have one brothe and one sister, but unfortunaly they don ‘t live with me anymore. I live in São Paulo, a big city (probably teh biggest) in Brazil. I really enjoy living here, because you can always find something to do with some friends. But if there is something that I could never plead is to go to the beach. Because the beach is somewhere completly magic, it’s alaways a positive vibration.

I love spend my time with some friends, we could do something or anything, it’ s always good to be with them. Sometimes I go to the cinema, I like waching soccer game, listen to music (I love it, specialy when I can identify something about me). And the thing that I most enjoy is to travel, to know new places, people, customs. Acctualy I love to learn new things. And if there is one thing that I still want to learn to like, is reading.
